Say hello to our latest addition! ‘HARRISON’ This is a 2024 SWIFT Motorhome, build on a Ford chassis model. This 5 berth motorhome will be available very soon!

Hi Folks, just a quick update on things. Again, not much motorhome talk as we are still getting the new yard sorted. Just a few more progress pictures. As you can see it’s not as simple as just moving a few vehicles into a yard, and as we’ve learned along the way, things definitely don’t happen over night. But, we are definitely getting there!

What has been completed:

We now have the office delivered and in place.

We have the digger work completed for the water supply and electricity side of things.

The 30 x 20ft shed (finally) landed today and will be erected in the next week or so.

We have also sold old stock and in the process of getting new stock.

What’s next?

Get the yard stoned and levelled.

Get the bays measured out for each vehicle.

Get all electrics completed: plugs, lights, charging ports for vehicles etc etc

Get the shed built next week.

Get new motorhomes into the yard.

Excited to introduce the newest member of the family to the growing fleet. This 6 berth beauty is available to rent in the coming weeks. Still not christened with a name yet, so if you have any ideas post below in the comments. New yard, same plan!

Things are coming together slowly but surely. Although this page is for showing the campers etc (and with zero excitement showing a wooden frame 😅) I think it’s important to show the journey of it all along the way! This is the base for the ‘carport’ / shed for when people come to either view or pick up their chosen vehicle. It’s 50/50 (even in the summer) with weather, so it’s a major plus knowing everyone will be dry when coming to view - which makes this a vital addition to the yard. Before the vehicle leaves i do a tutorial of how the van works and spend time with the persons’ collecting it. I also be on call to answer any questions when the vans are away, this gives some reassurance and lets everyone enjoy their trip that bit more. Viewing will be avaible soon. Finishing touches to the new office. 🙏🏻

Things haven’t went according to plan of late, but that’s how business works and we are still pushing ahead behind the scenes. Another camping site getting put together in Rossnowlagh. There’s no doubt how popular camping has become, more so since Covid. There was a lot of chat that it would die a death when people were allowed to fly again etc, but it seems to be that people were exposed to what’s around them and at least mix that in with their holidays abroad. Ireland has endless beauty and places to see. Would be great to say the same for its weather sometimes!

Next stage of a long term plan.

the base is in for the new 12 x 8 metre shed. Also moved into a bigger yard for more space to hold more vans (in time).

Time will tell if this risk will pay off, but we’ve came along way and no better man to take a chance on a business.

At present we are still chopping and changing with what type of vans will suit people as every van has its pro’s & con’s -

Small vans have less space, more compact but very easy to drive and cheaper to rent.

Large vans / motor homes have more space, toilet facilities built in, but are slightly more difficult to drive based on its size and more expensive to rent.

The season is at ‘low season’ now. We are still renting, as we rent all year round!

Availability at the moment:

2 x VW camper vans - this van sleeps 4 people, but is ideal for 2 adults. However, it will sleep a family of 4 as that is the design of the van.

1 x Peugeot boxer - this van sleeps 2 and has a fixed bed and plenty of head space.

Few pictures of ‘FLORENCE’ (updated).

More than meets the eye with this van. Structurally it has had a few things altered and added to make it more of a camper van, that functionally works a lot better than it did. This van got completely rewired to make it not only 12v for off grid but 240v off grid usable now as well. Without getting into too much detail, this van is ready to take on any journey.

It’s available to rent anytime going forward BUT IT IS ALSO FOR SALE. We will continue to rent this van until it is sold.

We have big plans for 2026 for Atlantic way campers. We are planning behind the scenes. As quiet as it may seem on socials - there’s a lot going on.

We had our OG camper ‘UNO’ up for sale around peak season for rental, but it’s only now that the season is coming into ‘low season’ that she is now ready to go. We are rethinking some models of our current stock and now that we have another VW added, there is only room for one as we want to have a bit of diversity and selection of vans. This van is ready to drive away now. We have put a very reasonable price of £20,000 on this van. It has served me well over the last 3 years and has everything you need for your camping adventures!
