Just a quick semi-positive update for anyone with a newer Euro6.2 compliant Transit/Custom with SID212EVO ECU.
Unfortunately there are still no tuning options on these 🤨
However we can now offer Factory Software Upgrades, where we can change your vehicle software to another factory specified option (105, 130, 170 or 185ps) It's not tuning, but its a good option for anyone desiring more power on an ECU that is currently no tunable !

Customer requested the 63MPH speed linter be removed as the vehicle was built incorrectly with this factory option.
Needless to say the customer was delighted after a few months of hassle attempting to get it rectified by the main dealer.

* Important Information Regarding New Custom Tuning *

Due to a changeover period on Engine ECU's, if you have a 'facelift' custom we will need to double check your ECU type on booking.
It is only affecting very small numbers at present, but with 'New Type' ECU's being fitted from May 2018, it's still possible, particularly on 2019 Builds.
Eventually Ford will swap entirely onto the new ECU, believed to be very very soon, but the solution is in development and will be available soon...

Don't worry we can check your ECU type by Reg or VIN number.

Yesterday we diagnosed a faulty transit ECU, which was suffering High Speed CAN BUS issues and sporadically cutting out. We could see the ECU had already been removed previously, as the security cover had been removed and not replaced.
Once the ECU was removed we could see signs of previous tampering with a bent casing. Upon opening the unit up we found nothing sealing the casing to the cover and a load of corrosion in one corner.
We sourced and Replaced the control unit by 'Cloning' the original ECU.

Transit Custom and MK8 Tuning Available from 1st July !
We will also be Tuning the MK7 Euro 5's too.

All 100, 125 & 140ps, tuning to 165ps and the 155ps tuning to circa 175ps. With increased throttle response and a smoother drive !

Don't forget we can remove all speed limiters including the problematic Econetic 70MPH, 100MPH Factory Limiter and the usual 56, 62 & 70 Limits.
