Tonight a tabby cat ran inside the workshop.

After extensively searching the premises, we resorted to looking at the camera footage, which showed that it had sneaked down into the brake rollers. Sure enough it was found wedged in the tiniest spot next to the chain and gears, which unfortunately are covered in a thick grease.

After a LOT of persistence we were able to free it, however, it then ran off and up into a wheel arch on a car🤦‍♀️. We were again able to free it, and check it over.

It does not appear to be hurt in anyway, and ran off absolutely fine.

Unfortunately the mix of grease from the rollers and dust from the wheel arch means it is quite dirty.

Hoping this will reach the owner, and help to explain what has happened.

Respect to the cat though - absolute expert level at hiding!!

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

We have received a lot of questions regarding the road closure sign that has appeared at Weston Coyney traffic lights.

We appreciate that they have had to put a closure sign at the lights to prevent large commercial vehicles having to turn around further up, and to allow for diversion routes, however, the sign is a little misleading as it actually relates to the ongoing works at Cellarhead.

Cellarhead traffic lights will be closed with no through route, however, the stretch from Weston Coyney traffic lights to Moorville Hall will remain open for access. If you are coming from Ash Bank, the 2 country lanes (Winterfield Lane & Salters lane) remain open.

Access to our Garage, and frontages will remain available.

Extremely busy week at dc vehicle repairs in-between all the mot's and service work we have completed a wet belt on a ford focus, wet belt on a transit and removed a body on a discovery ready for a new engine.

We are delighted to announce that the 6 Weeks worth of roadworks and resurfacing is now completed. The road will be open as usual from tomorrow morning 😀

⛔️🚧 ROAD CLOSURE 🚧⛔️

As you may be aware, there are planned roadworks on Weston Road (between Weston Coyney traffic lights & the entrance to Park Hall Country Park) beginning on Monday 29th July.

During these works they intend to close this section of road for at least 4 weeks. Obviously this will cause some interruptions, but we have been assured that although the road is closed, it will remain open for access, and that access will definitely remain available to our garage, so it is business as usual for us 😁

We have attached a map with alternative routes to get to us during these works 👍

Straight back into it after the Christmas break, and what a busy week it has been!

Thought I would share this one with you all as it's quite an unusual find.

This VW Golf came in with a complaint of the heater being slightly cooler on the drivers side. Car is equipped with dual heater controls so expected to find heater flaps stuck or temperature flap faulty.

A bit of investigation revealed that the heater matrix was partially blocked. Couldn't help but cut it open and take a look.

All genuine parts fitted, and now working perfectly.
