Hi MIKE.

My friend, the owner of the MGF on which the FCCKIT 474 was mounted, is very pleased with the quality and comfort of the new suspension that replaced the SUPLEX that he had, which had already damaged the rear shock absorber mount and a knuckle on the upper rear arm. After driving about 400km to Lisbon, he called me to thank me for the excellent work done in the workshop of a mechanic who worked with me at a former Rover/MG dealership, work that I also accompanied. His wife also thanked me because she had a very comfortable trip compared to the previous situation and without mechanical noises.

I hope that the "dinosaur MIKE" will continue to keep the MGF and TF on the road for a long time with his high quality products.

Just seen the Suplex kits on Ebay for £1300
Then you have to buy 4 knuckle joint for another £300 and new top arm bearings..It just doesn't add up to me. 😵‍💫

One thing that I just don't get is the number of so called hydragas pumps that are being sold to re pressure hydragas suspension..OK so you fit a re-gassed sphere and then pump it with fluid?? What happens to the air that has got into the system??🤬
The correct procedure is to VACUUM the air out first! So if you just pressurise it without doing the vacuum bit then your suspension is never going to be working correctly. A bit like having air in your braking system.😞

Every FCCKit is sent out with a parts list and recommended suspension settings .There are also a list of tips to help with the fitting.
PLEASE read this before fitting it will help with the same questions I get from people fitting the kit and it's obvious it's not been read!!😵‍💫

Managed to get two FCCKits out today one to Cyprus and one to Northern Ireland..which may come back when the customs decide they don't want it in the country.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Hi Mike
Sorry for the delay on this review but I thought I'd give the above sometime to settle in.
As you know I bought number 337 mk8 suspension from you back in Feb 2022. At the time I had given this a lot of thought and consideration before I made my decision to buy this kit from you.
I did consider having my hydro gas spheres refurnished but this was expensive and I could not help but think in a few years time I would be back in the same situation with a hard ride from the car and having to spend more money on second hand units.
I have got to say buying this kit is one of best things I done to the car as it has transformed the handling and ride. As for fitting I carried out all the work myself. I've got to say it's quite challenging but I took my time and found it very satisfying and rewarding that I had completed this myself.

I have now put 3000 miles on the car and all is well At the last mot I had done the mechanic remarked on the kit and was very impressed.

I'm currently building FCCKits numbers 437/8/9,440 and 441..in that order..and a billet ali kit to Spain.in addition 442UK,443 Cyprus,444,OZ445 Germany,446 Taz,447OZ and 448.
That's Italy/Italy/Italy/Turkey/Oz and Taiwan
Plus 2 Metro kits to Italy and 1 to UK.now 4kits
Please don't email me asking how long..🤨 I'm as confused as you🤣

When building the FCCKits/Metro kits the arms and pivots are pre-assembled to check the end float is within tolerance.
To do this I use two plain 1/2"unf nuts and some extra washers to simulate the thickness of the subframe.
When fitting the arm into the subframe the extra washers and nuts should be dis-guarded and the new nyloc nuts should be fitted.
This is exactly the same as the old parts removed.
DO NOT try and fit all the washers and extra nuts...otherwise it won't work and it won't be easy to get ALL the extra parts in the same space!
I must add this to the instructions🤥 because today after selling over 440 kits I had someone call about why the top arm was locking up🙄.
" We are a garage ..we know what we are doing.." is echoing in my ears.🙄

FCCKit no 429 leaving today working on 430/431 and 2 TransFormer kits.
Got the Metro Mk1 suspension arms signed off so they should be ready next week I hope.👍
