2018 Abarth 595 in today for a Cambelt & water pump just in time

This was a bit of good timing the customer booked the car in for its Cambelt & water pump replacement as it was over due luckily they did.

When we stripped the car down we found the water pump was leaking, cracked timing belt & a failing tensioner.

New Cambelt kit ✅
Water pump ✅
Antifreeze ✅
New fan belt ✅
Timing tools used not just paint marked ✅
Full vehicle check over ✅

12 months parts & labour warranty with every job & fully insured.

£350 inc vat for the timing belt kit
£25 for the new fan belt inc vat

Abarth Grande Punto in this week.

This little beauty came into us for a check over & a service.

New genuine oil filter ✅
Millers 10/50 oil ✅

A full check over was carried out & this vehicle have been extremely well looked after & absolutely mint underneath.

We straighten his exhaust back box & sorted his clamping issue as he couldn’t get the back box to stay tight to the bespoke made centre pipe.

Abarth 595 comp auto in this week.

The vehicle was delivered to us with a gearbox fault.
Rac had plugged it in for the customer & given then a diagnostic report.

Unfortunately for the customer it had a few different issues.

The initial issue resulting in the car not been able to drive was the gearbox motor we supplied & fitted a new motor as the original one was burnt out including the motor plug which we replaced.

After a test drive it was parked up & we came across another fault the car would select gears but wouldn’t move when the accelerator was pressed which is normally caused by a worn clutch or clutch sensor.

We fitted a new clutch, slave & flywheel due to it having excessive play on inspection.

A new pre cat lambda sensor was fitted due to electrical fault.

Just a few of the many Selespeed / dualogic actuators that we repair every week.

We have been working on these actuators for 15 years plus.

I had my own repair kits made specifically for them & have fitted 100’s of them over the years.

Just recently we have seen a few companies set up trying to repair them unfortunately they are using cheap seal kits ,incorrect oils & lack the knowledge of how the units work.

2024 Jeep Compass hybrid in a few weeks ago for service & oil change reset.

This vehicle was in a local main dealer where it had a service performed but unfortunately they were not able to reset the service & oil Indicators due to the car having the security gateway fitted.

No problem for us as we have the latest dealer tool for all the fca products.

Fiat 500l 1.3 diesel semi automatic / dialogic in for gear box issues.

The car had been sent to us by another garage they had fitted a new clutch & slave cylinder but once they had built it up they realised there was no reverse gear & was grinding.

We removed the gearbox & stripped it to find the teeth had been removed from the spigot shaft & damaged the reverse gear idler itself.

At this point the gearbox is not cost affective to repair so we supplied a good used gearbox from our stock, stripped the new gearbox & checked it all over prior to fitting to the vehicle.

Fiat panda 4x4 twin air in for a vibration.

After inspection we found the centre prop bearing had failed.

The customer sourced a new aftermarket one from eBay & we fitted it for them.

Jeep Renagade in yesterday with door locking issues

The car was dead locked & you could only undo the drivers door by the key the rest of the car was dead locked.

No issue we removed the original body computer & cloned the data from it

We then made a good used body computer & loaded the original data into the unit.

Recoded all the keys & the car is now working as it should.
