Some jobs from the end of last week.
Fleet vehicle booked in for a knocking noise when turning the steering wheel 🛞 turned out that it needed both front road springs and top mounts as they had broken, this is mainly caused by speed humps, pot holes and bouncing up and down curbs

So this week so far we have been doing tyres along with lots of routine maintenance.

First a lotus (fleet vehicle) we noticed that it needed tyres, we called the fleet company got the authorisation and ordered a set of tyres and fitted all them all within 48 hrs.
Secondly a mini swapping from a set of summer tyres to a set of all seasons due to lack of traction in the winter weather.
Thirdly replacing a tyre with a non repairable nail present.

Mustang Mach-E in for tyres and a suspension noise from the rear.

Bit of a strange one this….

There’s was a tonne of free play in the near side rear wheel, after removal of the wheel we found a trailing arm bolt and nut completely missing?? 🧐

It’s been missing for so long in fact it’s worn away the rose joint which unfortunately you can’t buy separately so it’s a complete new rear hub assembly for this mustang.

Very strange as to what’s actually happened here….

Top tip is to not ignore any unusual noises from your car, no matter how small they might seem they could be very costly if ignored. Call our service department and get your vehicle checked for peace of mind and above all safety 👍🏼
