🚗 LOCAL DRIVING TEST WAITING TIMES — HOW DOES YOUR CENTRE COMPARE?

The latest DVSA figures show a pretty big difference between some of our local test centres 👀

📍 Cobridge — 10.4 weeks
📍 Buxton — 15.0 weeks
📍 Crewe — 16.0 weeks
📍 Newcastle-under-Lyme — 17.6 weeks
📍 Stafford — 17.7 weeks
📍 Macclesfield — 21.4 weeks

That means there’s roughly an 11-week difference between Cobridge and Macclesfield 😳

But here’s the important bit…

⚠️ A higher pass rate does NOT automatically mean an easier test centre.

For example, Buxton has a much higher pass rate than Cobridge, but that doesn’t mean it’s a better place to take your test if you don’t know the roads or haven’t prepared properly there.

Different roads.
Different traffic.
Different candidates.
Different levels of preparation.

✅ Our advice is simple:

Choose the test centre you can prepare for best — not just the one with the nicest-looking statistics.

These waiting-time figures are also historical averages, so they don’t guarantee what will actually be available when you log in to book.
