PartWarns are never a good idea

You can see the price. You can see the tread. But can you see the tyre's past?

That's the problem with part-worn tyres.

Damage caused by impacts, under-inflation or previous repairs may not always be visible externally, but can significantly weaken structural integrity. Even where tread depth appears acceptable, hidden defects can lead to sudden failure.

A part-worn tyre comes with an uncertain history, so appearance alone can't tell you everything you need to know.

Buy from reputable sources and ensure tyres are correctly marked, compliant and suitable for your vehicle. Where possible, new tyres remain the safest option.

Don't let an unknown past become part of your next journey.

It may seem a good idea to use 'partworn' tyres when times are hard..... they are never good value for money and could be dangerous. Many have illegal repairs and it is not possible to assess for any internal casing damage. Remember the 'Tyresafe Motto - that Partworn tyres may be only partsafe'. A good safe budget tyre may be available at a more affordable price.......just ask...... 01642 853510
