Paul was giving this Renault Kadjar a thorough check-over when he found two issues that could have become much more serious. 👀🔧

❌ Suspension arm bush – cracked and badly perished
❌ Ball joint dust cover – split and coming apart, leaving the joint exposed to dirt and contamination.

That little rubber boot might not look like much… but once dirt gets into the joint, you can end up with a much bigger repair bill.

In this video, Andy uses a beam setter to check exactly what MOT Testers look for – aim, alignment and brightness, not just whether the bulb switches on.

It takes under 2 minutes on the machine, and it’s one of the most common reasons for an MOT fail that’s easily missed until test day.

If you’re due an MOT, ask us to check headlamp alignment beforehand – it could save you a second trip back for a retest.
