This Ford Mondeo came into the workshop with an engine fault, which Steve diagnosed as an internal mechanical failure causing a loss of compression. 🔧

After stripping down the engine bay, the engine was removed and prepared as a bare unit before being sent to a specialist company for a full overhaul back to factory specifications.

Once it returned, Steve rebuilt all the ancillaries, fitted new spark plugs, and refilled the engine oil and antifreeze - getting everything back together and running smoothly again. 🚗

Another big job completed and ready for many more miles on the road!
