💬 There are only a few days left for residents, sports clubs and employers across Stirling to have their say on the future of sport, physical activity and wellbeing in the area, with online surveys closing at midnight on 31 May.

The consultation, led by Stirling Council, will help shape how people access and experience physical activity, leisure and wellbeing opportunities across Stirling in the years ahead and will inform a new strategy.

The consultation forms part of a wider review into how leisure and wellbeing services can better meet the needs of local communities.

The new sport, physical activity and health strategy aims to create a healthier, more active Stirlingshire where everyone regardless of age, ability or background has the opportunity to move more and feel well.

Convener of Stirling Council’s Community Wellbeing Committee, Cllr Brian Hambly said: “We share the national vision of a Scotland where more people are more active more often. Taking part in this important consultation before the deadline is a step towards achieving that and shaping how sport and activity can work across our area.

“Whether you are a resident, are involved in sport or leisure clubs or an employer in the area, you can have your say on the strengths of what is currently out there and also help show the gaps that need to be addressed.”

“We want to hear from everyone across Stirling, active or not. Your feedback will help us create a Stirling where being active is easy, enjoyable and part of everyday life.”
