Connor James Devine
6 November 1997 โ 6 September 2026
Aged 28 Years
It is with profound sadness that we announce the funeral arrangements for the late Mr Connor James Devine, who passed away on 6th September 2026, aged 28 years.
Born to his proud parents, John and Nicola, Connor grew up in the Townhead area of Coatbridge alongside his siblings, Reece, Jay and Georgia. He was a much loved grandson to his maternal grandmother Lynne and the late David, great grandson to Gina. Connor was also a much loved nephew and an important part of his wider family.
Connor attended Townhead Primary School before continuing his education at Coatbridge High School.
From a young age, Connor developed a real passion for cars, an interest that would eventually become his livelihood. He began his career through an apprenticeship with Kia, developing the skills and knowledge that would serve him throughout his working life. In later years, Connor had the opportunity to work alongside his dad, John, and together they went on to establish and operate Devine Autotec. It allowed Connor to dedicate his working life to something he genuinely loved and was rightly proud of.
Connorโs life came to a deeply sad and unexpected end on 6th September. At 28 years of age, his passing leaves an immeasurable sadness for his parents, siblings, wider family, friends and all those who knew and loved him.
While the circumstances of his passing are deeply painful, Connorโs life will be remembered for far more than the manner in which it ended. He will be remembered for the son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend he was, for his passion for cars, for the work he built alongside his dad, and for the many memories he leaves with those closest to him.
