🚘🚘 Airbag Repairs 🚘🚘

This customer got in contact due to the airbag light constantly flashing on the dashboard.
Before contacting us they’d taken it to another garage who mis diagnosed the fault and replaced the clock ring in the hope of fixing the fault but the airbag light remained and the garage refused to carry on working on the car.
The customer then contacted us and we diagnosed the actual fault, the original airbag was faulty.
A new airbag was sourced, which we then installed.

Fault diagnosed correctly and fixed promptly.

This customer came to us when their Ford S max wouldn’t start and multiple garages couldn’t find the fault or offered unconvincing solutions with no clear explanation or costs.

We ran diagnostics on the car, reprogrammed some modules to get the car started and were then able to find the real cause of the problem, the alternator is overcharging causing the modules to lose their coding, resulting in the car not starting.
The alternator needs to be replaced to prevent future module failures.

A recent job involving removal and replacement of a passenger door lock due to the child lock not working
The lock had already been replaced but an incorrect lock had been fitted, causing more problems.

We sourced the correct part for the customer and fitted it at a time and place convenient to them.

Something a little different from our usual auto electronics and key programming, we recently repaired this spectrum ZX 128K+2

This customer came to us because they couldn’t see when reversing at night, their existing reverse lights were too weak.
We found the issue, a pin was bent on one of the connectors on one side preventing one reverse light from working.
At the customers request we fitted LED reverse lights, we don’t think visibility will ever be an issue for this customer again 🤭

A key first step to finding the right solution, diagnostics are day to day work here at AMCelectronics.
Diagnose and repair is our most requested service but we’re also happy to diagnose and advise if you prefer to do the repair yourself, it’s completely up to you.

All our services are mobile so you don’t even need to leave the house to find out what’s wrong with your vehicle, which I’m sure you’ll agree is an added bonus with the recent weather 🌧️

Some of our recent diagnostics have included

•Car battery draining overnight - traced the cause to be a light that stayed permanently on, draining the battery

•Adblue faults

•Non starter - wiring faults prevented the car reading the ECU

•Non starter - dashcam causing spurious ghost faults (we see this a lot!)
