Here is a reoccurring problem I had on a friends fiat 500. We diagnosed and sent the instrument cluster away for repair at Church Farm Garage a few years ago. A common fault on these fiat's are the various led warning symbols glowing dimly when they shouldn't. After this time this cluster came back with 3 dim leds. The repair was advertised with a lifetime warranty so I contacted them, and after a few conversations I managed to return it to them, have it repaired and refit back in the car fully functioning at no cost to the customer other than the postage. (Allthough I should say they did gift me something for my efforts which is always appreciated).

The joys of owning a BMW. One of 3 wiring looms being replaced going from the body, through the hinges and into the rear hatch. Half were either broken or the insulation cracked exposing the wires. This causes several issues from central locking problems, lighting, radio problems and my main annoyance, the glass hatch popping open at random times and causing a constant warning chime.

Something different last week. A 24 hour road working customer needed a towbar fitting, but while I was at it, asked to replace some spotlights with movable mount types. Then as an afterthought requested if the old spotlights could be mounted low on the chassis. I'm told it's a game changer lol.
