"The Cadillac"

Last week we had this Volkswagon Caddy van in fitted with a 2.0 TFSI engine from a golf GTI. The van has been a project for the last year for Daryl McNairn at McNairn Motor services and what a job he has done with it. Every single nut and bolt has had thought and care put into it to create something as special as this.

Friday was spent tuning this vehicle for all the modifications that have been done it, full specs can be found below :

Today we were called out to a 2016 audi a4 with a faulty adblue pump. With this being a dealership only part it was extremely expensive to replace and program.

Our AdBlue solution repaired the fault and allowed the customer to have the vehicle back the same day and cost a fraction of the replacement pump.

Transit Custom 2.2 -

Today we had a 2014 transit custom in. The vehicle failed to start sometimes and would randomly cut out.

We found a fault with the low pressure fuel system, indicating that the fuel pump inside the tank wasn't producing enough pressure. This was then traced back to the power distribution module underneath the bonnet. Over time the small pins holding the fuse for the low pressure pump had become worn and engine vibrations were causing an open circuit condition on the pump.

Module disassembled and repaired in under 1 hour allowing the vehicle to go back to work.
