The saga continues. The grey van has been refused an mot at three garages. I won’t go through all the details but when mots went online a single letter was missed out from the vin number. This meant the mot system showed the van as a vw golf. It somehow got mots for years with this mistake. But I can’t seem to get one. So I’ve written to the dvla to get it sorted out. Also two garages expressed serious concerns about the condition of the engine so I’m upgrading/downgrading from a 2.4 to a 1.9td. Depending on your point of view

The mid panel on the drivers side was pretty dented. It also looks like someone tried to open the door with a crowbar. Again I used a donor panel, though it needed some work too

On the drivers side rear arch I added the pressing from the original vw panel
