es with their breakdowns. Ranging from the normal Dometic / Thetford Fridge & Toilet malfunctions to the more elaborate Hot Water / Blow Air Heating issues. I can replace your leaking water pump or talk you through your requirements to maximise your off-grid capabilities. As a caravanner myself with a great off-grid capability I can talk with you on a personal level about the type of requirements that you might be faced with. As a runner, hiker and dog owner I needed somewhere to wash off my dirty clothes, so I fitted an external 'Bullfinch' hot & cold shower to the side of the van, absolutely fantastic for showering off the mud from my shoes and the mud off the dogs' coats. External BBQ point for the 'Cadac' means I can cook outside in the glorious weather. With additional batteries 'banked' for maximum life longevity and solar on the roof to power them, I can pitch up off-grid for weeks. With an inverter powered to just one socket I can monitor and maintain a 240v AC presence whilst off grid too. Realistically it means I get a hot, milky, frothy coffee without waiting for the gas hob kettle to boil.

NOTE: If you want non genuine elements to save you money, be aware that the seal kit from Truma doesn’t have the replacement seals at the gas burner, they now come pre fitted to the heat exchanger

*** WARNING ***

-1 due this weekend. It’s time to double check your caravan / motorhome for winter drain down.

1) Ensure your water boiler drain down tap is open
2) Ensure your mixer taps are fully open 50% hot 50% cold to allow air in
3) Open your shower tap and disconnect your hose and head
4) If you have an onboard water tank, just double check that is empty too
5) If you have a surge damper or an inline water filter, remove or drain down too.
