We are absolutely delighted (and still a little shocked!) to share some incredible news from the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards 2026.

Tackwood MOT & Service Centre was shortlisted in three categories, and we're so proud to announce that we came away with not one, but two awards:

As a true three-generation family business, these awards mean so much to us. They represent years of hard work, dedication, resilience, and a commitment to delivering the very best service to our customers and community.

For Dionne personally, this recognition is incredibly special. Having dedicated her entire working life to the business, helping transform it from its transport roots into the thriving garage it is today, this award reflects a journey spanning decades and the support of an amazing family and team along the way.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our staff, customers, suppliers, friends, family, and everyone who has supported us over the years. Your trust, loyalty, recommendations, and encouragement have helped make achievements like this possible.

These wins also mean that we will once again be representing our region on the National stage in November, and we couldn't be more proud to fly the flag for our business, our team, and our local community.

Anyone who knows Tackwood will know just how much Angelo means to the business. His knowledge, experience, work ethic, and passion for the trade have helped shape Tackwood into what it is today.

He’s not only an extremely skilled and respected technician, but also someone who continues to lead by example, support the team, pass on his knowledge, and set the standards we all work towards.

For many of us, Angelo is the person we turn to when we need advice, a second opinion, or someone to help solve the jobs that really test us. His experience in the motor trade is something we’re very lucky to have, and his influence on the team is clear every day.

🌟 Your Choice Winner – Norma Leckie 🌟

We’re pleased to share that our latest Your Choice winner is Norma Leckie.
