🚫 Thinking of Drilling Your DPF? Think Again!

Some people deal with DPF issues by drilling holes in the filter and modifying the software — often through misunderstanding or chasing a quick fix.

But in the vast majority of cases, the DPF isn’t the root problem!
The DPF is a serviceable item, and blockages are almost always caused by underlying issues such as:
🔧 Faulty glow plugs
🔧 Split boost pipes
🔧 Faulty or lazy sensors

These problems can cause DPF symptoms, even when the filter itself isn’t fully blocked.
