If you're looking for something different to try, then why not visit us at Scalextric Racing? Located just outside of Spalding, we are a great way to entertain everyone for a few hours. With 8 replica tracks ranging in length up to 105ft based on real life locations, we offer a lot more fun than the average slot car track at home without the hassle of packing it away at the end!
All ages and abilities are welcome - our site is fully wheelchair accessible with easy access, dedicated spacious disabled toilets, and the race tables have been designed to be the ideal height for wheelchair users. We recommend the minimum age be 7+ to ensure there is no difficulty in reaching the tables or handling the controllers but younger children can still enjoy themselves if someone is there to help them out!
A session costs just £12 per racer which lasts for around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and gives 8 minutes on all 8 tracks. Everything you need is provided, including the cars and controllers (you’re welcome to bring your own cars but please check when booking to ensure they are compatible with our lap counters). With our flexible approach we can handle groups ranging from 2 to 32 people at once comfortably for a variety of occasions from team building and corporate events, to social groups.
We are understandably quieter during term times, making it an ideal time to visit for those who don’t like the noise of crowds, if you want to return for a race with other parents without the kids, or even just to visit the cafe for coffee and cake. The café is open during weekends and holiday periods for freshly made hot food, but we still have a wide variety of freshly made cakes, plus the usual range of other snacks and hot or cold drinks available at all times.
Our current opening hours are 9.30am-4pm Wednesday to Friday, 11am-4pm Saturday/Sunday, and closed Monday/Tuesday (Open for Bank Holidays!). Booking is required, especially during peak times – although walk-in visits are always welcome, please be aware that there may be a wait and if we are fully booked, we may need to turn you away.
