Yamaha DTR125 came to us as a non runner with no mot, left us running and passed mot with no problems!

The wiring was an absolute mess on this one, resulting in nothing working, wrong plugs connectors mismatch wiring, bullet connectors and wires even wrapped up and taped!

The wiring loom was to far gone and was more affordable to replace the full loom and match everything so it’s all plug and play for the future.
Thanks to The bike barn for supplying the parts for this

We did a engine rebuild and this consisted of,
Japanese con rod
Mitaka Japanese piston
Koyo Japanese main bearings
Full oil seal kit
Vertex gasket set
Genuine Yamaha head gasket as aftermarket gaskets don’t hold on DTRs well at all.

Other work consisted of
Front wheel bearings and seals
Swingarm bearings
Carburettor clean
Front tyre inner tube
General bolt tighten check over as was sat awhile so for peace of mind it was all checked over

Starts first kick and already covered a good amount of miles and no problems at all.
Just in time for the sunny weather ☀️

Stunning KTM EXC 125 six days in for loads of trick bits and work

Work carried out
ProX rear brake pads with brake flush
New orange coolant hoses
Full service, Motorex gear oil, Spark plug, airfilter, general check over
New orange kickstarter
Frame bash plate
New JT heavy duty chain and smaller rear sprocket to get more top end speed
Brand new plastics fitted
Orange carburettor hoses + Pv breather hose
Orange spike footpegs
Orange frame guards

Have got to book in for his new seat cover then would fully complete the bike 🔥

Husaberg TE250 in for main bearings, while apart we noticed the gearbox sprocket drive bearing was also gone, the seal looked like it was eaten away and dirts got in.

All replaced with Quality parts
ProX main bearings
Athena seal kit
Vertex Gasket set

Lovely KTM XCW 150 in for a top end rebuild, customer could hear some knocking noise and wanted it checked out, he came to us we compression tested it and was 80psi and wouldn’t like to idle, we went ahead and fitted the next size vertex single ring piston kit and brought the compression up to 121psi,

We did advise it would need a replate in the near future but for what use he does it will be more than fine. He said it’s so much faster to, we also cleaned the powervalve blade while it was apart as it was sticking quite bad!

All back together ready for some rips💨

KTM 125sx in for clutch master cylinder rebuild, customer removed engine and couldn’t get it to bleed after, this is becoming more common now on these older bikes with the old seals. All back together and after awhile got it to bleed up lovely, ready to rip on the track again 💨

2 Lovely fresh Yamaha DTRs in for some bits ready for the build👌🏻

New headstock bearings top and bottom
Fork seals + new oil
Swingarm bearing kit all greased with Motul grease

Waiting for some more bearings to arrive to do linkage aswell
Will look amazing when done 💨

Yamaha DTR125 fork seals and steering stem replacement this weekend these will look and feel amazing on customers bike 👌🏻

Steering bearing packed with Motul grease which is exceptional for these types of bearings as can handle very little wash out and will stay for many years.

Been busy on the sandblasting and vapour blasting recently, this is all for a returning customer who we do work for, can say these bits come out really nice and will look good on their restored bike 👌🏻

Sorry to anyone still waiting for parts / bikes to be done, you haven’t been forgot about I’m getting round to it just been so busy at the moment.

Rieju MRT 50 in this morning for service, Motul Gearbox oil, air filter clean and fresh NGK spark plug.

On the look around of the bike we noticed front indicator wire was broken so all fixed and safe for the road.

XR400r Fork seals in today these have seen better days and even finished off with a clean back to OEM condition

Fitted with quailty OEM spec seals and oil and air gapped correctly with the motion pro oil level tool which can get to exact MM of oil.
