SUNLIGHT IBEX 4x4: the next steps! 🚐🔥

Last year, SUNLIGHT presented the IBEX 4x4 for the first time as a concept car – and now the next milestone is here.

The official market launch is planned for August 2026, and SUNLIGHT has already released the first details.

💥 What you can expect:

- VW Crafter with all-wheel drive, 163 hp, and 8-speed automatic transmission, packed into a compact length of just under 6 meters
- Factory off-road equipment: robust 18" off-road tires, lightbar, reinforced roof structure with partially integrated awning, and an electric off-road entry step
- Smart interior features: space-saving bathroom with foldable sink, new sliding partition wall for quick access to the rear storage area, and a pull-out fridge accessible from inside and outside
- Your look: choose from 4 different paint finishes: blue, sand, grey and black

And the best part: the IBEX 4x4 will be available to order from August 2026!

2 happy customers and 2 even happier vans heading off to their new (and hopefully forever) homes 🥹

Both transactions completed in the care of Salesman Simon!👏

Firstly it’s a new home for our AutoSleeper Burford. If you’re unfamiliar with this vehicle, it’s worth checking our previous posts, she’s a beauty 😰 I personally am sad to see her go although I’m sure Mr & Mrs Severin aren’t!! A personal favourite of mine 🤩 A huge thank you and congratulations, all 3 of them stayed at a local Caravan & Motorhome Club site on the Southport coast before heading home down to East Sussex📍

Next up was the turn of Mr & Mrs Hughes and their new Bailey Unicorn Madrid 🤩 They utilised our part exchange scheme and landed themselves a serious upgrade by swapping in their beloved 2006 caravan 🥺 Having spoken to Mr Hughes personally before departure, I’d like to wish them both many many happy returns!😁
