On behalf of Julie and Myself a MASSIVE THANKS to every single customer that supported us at Arvor Marine Parts in 2024 itโ€™s been absolutely flat out from start to finish .
We appreciate every single job carried out and every part thats sold - without YOU we simply canโ€™t do it THANK YOU !!!
I have travelled to more places than ever , worked on more boats than ever , been set more challenges than ever and met more great people than ever .
On the parts side we have sold more parts than ever and with the help of our Global logistic partners UPS / DHL we have reached out to owners wherever they maybe globally.
So a rest now for the next few days ( maybe some fishing between the festivities which is something thatโ€™s fallen short due to my work rate .)

Breakdown day today , the alternator drive belt tensioner had failed and sheared the bolt off that holds it to the engine
Bolt extracted , new tensioner, bolt and a new drive belt fitted - now all back up and running .
Thanks again Andy for the invite to help and what a setting at Orford a great day at the office canโ€™t beat it .

Another big week at Arvor Marine Parts
Had the pleasure to go to BoatsandOutboards4Sale who has some lovely boats for sale there.
It was also great meet Peter Down who had just sold a beautiful Arvor 250 Carole B to a new customer who is taking it to the Isle of Scilly so asked me to give it a full service .
Been dealing with Peter for several years but always missed each other on each visit to Plymouth Dry stack.
Then a regular boat Iโ€™ve looked after for now 3 owners a full service on Dawn Trader Arvor 215 VW 100-5 itโ€™s beautiful boat .
Finished the week at Essex Marina replaced a Map sensor on a Arvor 230 QSD 2.0 Fee Fee which was lacking power and then last but certainly not least a Full Service on an Arvor 250 โ€œ for codโ€™s hake โ€œ ( great name like that !! ) this boat was sold by boats.co.uk to the new owner and they asked me to give it a full service prior to its new home in wales .

Beautiful morning down in Eastbourne, sun all the way .
Today it was a regular boat I look after an Arvor 230 with the VW 150 -5 always a pleasure to be part of this boat

Had the pleasure of carrying out a full service on this beautiful Arvor 810 fitted with the Mercury diesel QSD 2.8 .
The sea water pump bearings were very rough on rotation so I installed a replacement new pump .
A new boat to a long standing customer and me as a ex owner of a 810 I also showed him how some of the gadgets worked

So again a fantastic time up in Scotland first stop in Glasgow yesterday to service Moonshine a superb Arvor 210 VW100-5 for a regular customer .
Then 2 1/2 h hours further up to Lochgilphead ( ish ) to Service Predator Arvor 215 Vw 100-5 again for a regular customer and the common skate guru !!

So another busy day Friday yesterday 3 more boats with timing belts &water pumps fitted
An Arvor 215 Qsd 2.0 first ( no photo )
Then a extremely rare Arvor 215 Qsd2.0 with the late blue and white hull this has to be the last of the Arvor 215 models out there - this is the second time we have had the privilege to replaced the belt .
Then lastly a Arvor 215 VW full timing Belt job and the starter motor replaced and new sea strainer basket fitted , this boat I have worked on for 2 previous owners and now for the latest owner who now has the confidence to just turn to go fishing - superb stuff !
Great boats ,had a great laugh too and a great bacon roll from the in house cafe at the dry stack thanks to Steve H

Here we are again back in my favourite Devon and Cornwall for 3 days .
Today we started at Instow north Devon with the Arvor 215 club 3 boats parked side by side .
The tasks today included 2 Vw timing belt and water pump replacements and the 3rd boat just a sea water pump impeller
Then we crossed into Cornwall to Mylor and carried out another Timing belt job this one has the Qsd 2.0
Engine .
Cracking boats cracking weather superb locations
More jobs tomorrow
