Intense couple of days preparing this Azimut 46 for last minute road transport, now off to Southampton to be loaded on to the MV Spuigracht tomorrow morning for a two week passage to Washington DC, big thanks to Colin, Paul, Nigel and as always the very helpful Sutton Wharf Boatyard team for making this quick turn around happen!

Great to see Shoreline Interboat in the yard too, always nice to see them 🚚🛥️

In life, there’s the people that always ask “why” and then there’s those that always ask “why not” so why wouldn’t you buy this stunning Fairline Sqaudron 59? It’s 60 ft of pure, affordable luxury both inside and out, it will take you to wherever your heart desires and in true Fairline style it will do so in luxury and elegance, so why not?

As it’s pancake day, I thought I’d showcase my top five favourite galleys at the moment.

Coming in at number 1 is of course the Sunseeker Portofino 47, the stylish portholes provide a great view and the Corian worktops are easy to wipe down if you spill some batter.

At a very close second is the Fairline Sqaudron 59, the wine chiller directly below the stove really adds to the entire pancake day experience and the dishwasher is a great touch.

In third place is the Azimut 46, because who wouldn’t want to make pancakes in a galley finished with the highest quality cherry wood?

My fourth choice is the large and capable galley of the 60 ft Branson Barge, there’s more than enough space for flipping and there’s more cupboard space than you could ever need, perfect for all those toppings!

Finally in fifth place is the sociable galley of the Corvette 32, although smaller than the rest the galley on the Corvette 32 is practical and efficient, it also benefits from being directly opposite the saloon for a sociable pancake making session.
