A huge shout out to Andrew from Premier Boat Charter and Alan from Aquatherapy Marine Charters, who responded to a dinghy in distress in the Hurst Narrows today.
A lone sailor had run into difficulty and was becoming extremely tired and suffering from shock. With the strong tide carrying him further out, Andrew quickly took the dinghy under tow and brought it safely back towards Colwell Bay, where we arranged for The Hut’s tenders to take over and assist in bringing both the sailor and his dinghy ashore.
Thankfully, both the individual and his boat were unharmed.
A fantastic team effort from everyone involved, who put their own charter operations on hold to help someone in need. It’s great to see the boating community come together when it matters most. 👏⛵️🚤
