This VW Transporter came in with a steady coolant loss that wasnโt immediately obvious. No major puddles, no dramatic overheatingโjust one of those slow, frustrating leaks.
After a closer inspection, we found the issue ๐
๐ A heavily corroded oil cooler
๐ Minor cracking starting to form
๐ Coolant slowly escaping under pressure
Over time, corrosion had eaten away at the housing, weakening it enough to start leaking. These can be tricky because they often only leak when hot or under load, making them easy to miss.
๐ ๏ธ Fix: Replacement of the oil cooler and seals, followed by a full system check to ensure no further issues.
Another one sorted and back on the road ๐
