A closer look at the importance of preventative engine maintenance. 🔧

One of our Golden Arrow Marine engineers recently stripped, cleaned and rebuilt the after-cooler on a Volvo Penta UK D6-400 A-F.

The aftercooler plays a vital role in engine performance, cooling compressed air from the turbocharger before it enters the engine.
Over time, deposits and corrosion can affect its efficiency, potentially leading to reduced performance and costly mechanical issues.

By stripping, inspecting, cleaning and rebuilding the after-cooler, we're helping maintain efficient engine operation and identify potential problems before they develop into expensive repairs.
