So many times I see this happening where vehicles are cutting the corner of a right turn and doing it at speed as well.

You’re basically on a countdown as to how soon you cause an accident. A lot of these junctions are very closed and you can’t fully see into the new road until you’re part way round so being on the wrong side of the road doesn’t solve any problems, it’s potentially going to cause them!

If there’s an oncoming vehicle or a parked car or a cyclist that you can’t see then you’re giving minimal time to adjust your speed and position by cutting the corner. You really don’t need to do it.

Slow down on approach and take the junction on the correct side of the road!

Who has priority? 🤷🏼‍♂️ This may look obvious but so many people seem to be unsure at this junction.

Both vehicles are turning into a one way road, blue car 🚙 is turning right which means they should give way to oncoming vehicles and green 🛻 is emerging so should be giving way if it would affect other vehicles by pulling out.

Motorcyclists are particularly vulnerable and can easily be missed by just a quick mirror glance. Every road user has a responsibility of safety not just for themselves but for everyone so take extra care and make the correct observations when needed.
