Every career has a story. We're proud to start sharing them today.

Earlier this year we celebrated International Women in Engineering Day, by launching Women at Griffon - a new YouTube interview series with members of our team.

Each short film features a different colleague sharing:
🔹 their journey into Griffon Marine
🔹 what they do today
🔹 where they hope their career will take them

There isn't one route into engineering or the marine industry. Through these honest conversations, we want to give teachers, parents, careers advisers and young people a genuine insight into the wide range of rewarding careers available, not only in engineering itself, but across the many disciplines that support it.

By continuing to share these stories every month, we hope to inspire more women and girls to see the marine sector as a place where they can build a successful and fulfilling career.

We are looking for skilled Outfitter to join the Shipyard team at Griffon Marine.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of general outfitting tasks. We’re looking for someone with experience working with GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), a strong understanding of engineering standards and knowledge of ISO standards.

One year ago, we proudly became Griffon Marine, rebranding from Griffon Hoverwork to better reflect the breadth of our expertise across marine design, build and support.

Since then, we've enjoyed a year of remarkable progress, marked by international success, industry recognition and continued investment in our people. Between 1 April and 20 July alone, 𝘄𝗲'𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟰𝟲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀, expanding our capabilities to meet growing demand for our products and services.

Over the past year, we've secured major international contracts, expanded our global presence, continued to deliver specialist capability for commercial customers and the UK Ministry of Defence, welcomed government representatives to our shipyard, received recognition through industry awards, and remained committed to our local community by raising more than £10,000 for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.

As we celebrate our first anniversary as Griffon Marine, we'd like to thank our employees, customers, partners and supporters who have been part of this journey. We look forward to building on this momentum and continuing to deliver world-class marine solutions for customers around the globe.

Joining our Shipyard, Support and Supply Chain teams, they are beginning an exciting journey to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and build rewarding careers in the maritime industry.

At Griffon Marine, we're committed to investing in the next generation of marine professionals, providing the training, support and opportunities they need to thrive. We look forward to watching them grow and become an important part of our future.
