JSR focus on solution services for most 8.5/10 inch E-Scooter models (Xiaomi, Ninebot, Segway, Kugoo) including clone models etc. Very flexible when it comes to problem solving so most problems concerning the ride safety, electrics or mechanical faults can be addressed. I do not involve myself in the electrical engineering side at the moment so rewiring, soldering, 2WD upgrade cannot be done at th
e moment. Common services inc:
- Stem wobble
- Brake servicing and cable replacement
- Snapped frame (particularly on the Xiaomi clones)
- Tyre and inner tube placement
- Drive clean
- Error code fixes
- Mudguard fit
- Motor replacement
This is just a handful of services that I can offer for individual clients or for small businesses that perhaps have E-Scooter stock on hand in need of repair. Most of the less technical repairs I can offered on delivery for a fixed rate, this is provided you live roughly within 10 miles of the east Southampton area which is where I operate. Travel can be arranged for business dealings including larger repairs. Modifications is also another service of JSR, however it is runs more as a secondary service at the moment as demand isn't to high however this may change if there is interest. The modification that can be done include:
- 10 inch tyre upgrade**
- Speed boost (only applicable scooters)
- Suspension sets
- Offroad tyre upgrade
- Battery upgrade (outsourced)
- Brake upgrade
** I highlight this as it is necessary to mention that I do not deal with solid tyre in any form, this tyres without air pumped into them, this is because they will likely destroy your devices battery due to the increased vibration. They also require replacing every 500 miles or so as they bald very quickly, yet I receive requests for them quite often on 8.5inch scooters as they are prone to puncture. I offer a replacement service with replaces the 8.5 tyres for significantly better 10inch tyres, this dramatically reduces the chance of a puncture as they are at a lower pressure with a way larger contact surface making the scooter not only more puncture resistant but also more stable and smooth to ride, its a very noticeable change, other benefits inc:
- Reduces the difficultly and tools require to change the inner tube, this means you can change the inner tube yourself in the event of a puncture (I will provide you all the knowledge on how to do as well as spare tubes)
- Increases the top speed of the scooter by about 5-7kph
- Clean look and maintains the lifespan of the scooters battery.
- Can have red or black tyres
