Due to the fluctuation of messers and people thinking they are more important than others around in chelmsley wood and local areas. (New guidelines) ‼️
Big jobs will require deposits, I will not be stripping down engines etc to find out if they are no good without deposits, even if that vehicles engine or component cannot be repaired you will be paying for time taken or agreed cost to strip down before hand. This also goes for jobs being stripped then waiting for parts etc it’s your vehicle not mine in nicest way possible. With the bigger jobs there is no rush it has to be done properly I will not being accepting constant messages after work hours or abuse if the job does not fit your time scale because extra work or checks have to be completed. This is simply why most mechanics will not do the bigger jobs around this area. I understand vehicles are important it’s down to you find temporary transport while’s big jobs are being undertook. You having to get on a bus with little timmy in the morning is not my issue.
Random jobs non call out ……example you have a broken coil spring (but I turn up your shock is also leaking not checked ) if I attend a call out a full vehicle health check is given with every job to cover my back and yours, if you cannot afford the work carried out to manufactures and mot guidelines which goes hand in hand. call out fee will have to be paid. This goes for straight jobs previously looked at by other so called mechanics.
No mates rates only a handful of close friends receive this, everyone is your friend as a mechanic, there is no que jumping, everyone receives a fair chance at getting my services. If I’m not working on your car I will be working on someone else’s please bare this in mind.
Jobs ….. can take longer sometimes extra parts are needed which means you guessed it more time, being a one man band is not easy if I’m a few hours late or the work day goes past 6pm that day I will simply return the next day or to when next suits the both of us, if you give me crap because of this I will be polite in saying I will not be working on your car. In a high demand garage things are pushed back (sometimes) as one man mobile band this is also the case. This is also goes for people needing extra work for example stripping down your timing chain and finding out your oil pump or crank seal is no good etc you have to wait for parts and be rebooked if not easily obtainable. which will be done asap, prices can also change vehicles cannot always be fixed on set price or a budget job depending. I’m very understanding and do put the extra work in and do not scam my customers.
To any customers who have doubts in my work I have a diploma in vehicle maintenance and repair and also motorsport technology + over 15 years experience on working on all types of manufactures of vehicles these can be shown before doing any work. All work is also photographed and other issues video recorded if necessary job depending
