New customer booked in for a major service on their Fiesta.

Full health check carried out free of charge with any major service jobs booked in, along with fluid levels being checked and topped up such as coolant, brake fluid and washer fluid.

Toyota RAV4

Customer reached out to see what I could do with a vehicle of theirs thatโ€™s been stood still for 3 years. Booked them in for a full health check, found all issues and maintenance that would be required to get this through an MOT and on the road.

This vehicle then had:
- Major service due to being stood for 3 years โ˜‘๏ธ
- Brake fluid flush due to being dark in colour and high water content โ˜‘๏ธ
- Both rear anti-roll bar drop links due to cracked bushes โ˜‘๏ธ
- Both front shock absorber dust boots & bump stops due to being perished & deteriorated โ˜‘๏ธ
- Both rear tyres due to excessive cracking around tyre tread โ˜‘๏ธ

All this got us through the MOT with no advisories and a very happy customer.

Renault Clio 1.2 TCE

Booked in for an initial investigation for none-start. From faults codes stating exhaust camshaft position to hearing the chain contacting the front cover whilst turning over, I soon realised this was all due to a stretched timing chain with possible failure of something else.

All genuine parts supplied and fitted along with a new front cover due to the excessive wear along the top edge where the rocker cover mating surface is. Soon found upon strip down that one of the timing chain guides was the cause of this chain to go slack, this is why the sump comes off to thoroughly clean out any debris that may have broken off and landed in the sump.

All parts torqued to spec, vehicle back up and running and on the road, another happy customer ๐Ÿค

Call out from a customer after noticing smoke from the engine bay. Theyโ€™ve managed to limp it back home and after a quick investigation, could see coolant leaking out a deteriorated & cracked turbo coolant feed pipe that ran across the top side of the turbo.

Replacement coolant hose sourced and fitted, vehicle back up and running. Lucky the owner caught this soon otherwise couldโ€™ve easily ran the engine empty of coolant and over-heated.

Vauxhall Combo van

Booked in after one of the delivery drivers went into a deer which left a destroyed radiator, lower support panel, grille, fan & shroud assembly.

Replaced cooling radiator, lower support panel, fan & shroud assembly along with a new resistor. Filled & bled cooling system with new coolant/anti-freeze. Vehicle back on the road for this customers deliveries.

Hopefully this driver can stay clear of any future collisions with wild life.

Booked in for an interim service, exhaust flap & rear silencer heat shield to be re-fitted with new clips.

Customer supplied all genuine parts ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Rear silencer heat shield was hanging down and missing all five clips, fitted back up with all new. Exhaust flap motor was inoperative throwing an engine warning light on the dash with stored faults codes. Service points torqued to spec and paint marked.

Called out to replace a wing mirror on a Tesla after a small incident with a barrier.

Replacement unit supplied by the customer, stripped down what was needed from the old assembly for the antennas & wiring, swapped all over to the new assembly, built back up with trims and fitted to the vehicle like the incident never happened.
