Bit of a long project this was but finally done
in for exhaust and radiator we have now successfully built a 50% larger capacity radiator to keep this little turbocharged nutter cool
We’ve done some extensive work on this and now should be way better than when it left the showroom
Will do a video of this once back together and some noise tests too 👊🏼

We’ve been a bit busy in the shop last week and carrying on this week with this absolute monster of a twin turbo in for some charge cooler upgrades a pair of boost clamps and then welded onto the compressor housings and charge coolers

S3 came in for some clearance issues around the foglight grills
Customers nots make it clear the grills with minimal front panel cutting. Done ✅

I must say the cooler works very well indeed there’s a clear temperature drop from boost in to boost out
Then it was time for a new intake too
I thought about how all the intakes off the shelf run straight over the top of the turbo and manifold and suffer quite a bit with heat soak this way it’s keeping away from the main heat source we think it looks a bit different too

Just need to see what it all does on the dyno soon

So the old tsi that was installed in the caddy decided that it didn’t like the timing chain where it was so now it’s having a full ea888.3 in its place this time round it should last longer than 1000 miles is38 bolted on 3.5” downpipe incoming to mate to the 3.5” exhaust that’s it’s already got 👌🏼💪🏼
