Few bits on Reece’s Leon today ready for his next track day!

Had quite bad leak coming from both driveshaft seals dropping gearbox oil out onto the floor! Not ideal if it hits your tyres half way round track!

Got that sorted with new seals! After that he supplied new driveshafts for me to fit to make sure they were good for the track!

Last but not least fresh gearbox oil to completely refresh the system! Should be ready for him to send it on track soon!

After that the car needed a new wiper motor mech as the old one i unfortunately had snapped doing another job! Got it replaced in no time!

Sarah booked her van in for a couple of bits!

First major problem was the shock!

The bottom had corroded out causing the shock bottom to rub on the tyre!

Got lucky it didn’t fully break or that could have been a little worse!

New shock fitted so hopefully that won’t happen again!

After that I had to swap the tyre, as the shock had rubbed away at nearly all the tread! Couldn’t allow it to leave the shop without a new one! All fitted and balanced so again that shouldn’t be an issue!

After that her exhaust was rattling a little bit!

Just needed a new mount and exhaust rubber and now it’s rattle free and safe to drive again!

Lisa came in with her Corsa today for a headlight!

Doing the routine checks of everything I noticed her coolant was low! Went to top it up and unfortunately the cap had snapped!

New cap ordered and on in no time!

After that I came across another little job! Washer bottle pipe had split and was leaking!

Luckily I had some spare hose in so I got that swapped out for new! No more leaks!

So finally the job in hand! Unfortunately she had a cracked headlight and wanted to get it swapped!

Brand new second hand part fitted to keep the costs down for her! Made sure all the bulbs worked which they did so bolted everything back together and the car was back ready to drive!

Front discs and pads for Reece’s Fiesta today!

He had a vague feeling whilst braking and found out why straight away!

Definitely got the best out of both discs and pads!

Swapped for new and now the brake pedal is back as it should be!

Rob brought his mini in for a PCV valve today!

Smoking a little bit when on idle for a couple of mins! Cheapest fix was the PCV but unfortunately it was part of the rocker cover!

Whilst the rocker cover was off I checked the spark plugs and all seems well there!

Good job I was changing the rocker cover gasket as the old one had failed letting oil into the spark plug holes!

Once I cleaned everything up the new rocker cover with PCV valve went on and spark plugs back in!

Now hopefully the car shouldnt be smoking after being sat idle for too long!

Jim brought his awesome Twingo in for a horrible crunchy noise when turning!

Quickly diagnosed it as top mounts on both sides!

Soon as the weight was off the car they had pretty excessive play up and down!

Once removed we noticed the bearings inside had failed so got new bearings on along with a new top hat lower bush and nuts and now it’s back to being creak free!

There is another noise but I believe it’s the column with a little noise

If your car has suspension knocking when driving let me know and I’ll get your car working as it should again!

Engine mount for Khalids car!

Old one had failed inside… the bush had worn out and was causing the engine to bounce around when driving!

Engine mount now replaced it feels solid again and no more knocking!

Leo brought his BMW for a couple of jobs!

Valvetronic actuator being the first one! Bit of a technical job this one making sure it’s timed hp properly to the cams but able to match it as the old one was! No more lumpy idle and light on the dash!

After that another light on the dash was the VANOS sensors! One was the issue but opted for replacing both to be sure!

Both sensors replaced, now leak free and working as they should!

After that it was an oil and filter service!

Brianna came in today for a number of jobs

First off was rear discs and pads! Old discs had quite a bit of scoring on them and the pads were also getting low!

Swapped out for fresh of both so now they’re ready for another few thousand miles of driving!

After that the rocker cover had a leak making a bit of a mess in the engine bay!

Wasn’t long before the rocker cover was off and old gasket removed! Could tell it had been on a good while as it was more plastic than rubber!

After that 1 fresh tyre all done and balanced so now the car is back to being ready for the UK roads

Brakes pads, air filter, oil and oil filter for the AJ Autos M3 today before its upcoming track day at Donington!

PBS only the best for the M3 with the hard driving it’ll be doing! These pads I run in all my cars and they’re fantastic! Let’s hope they handle the weight and power of this car!

Car has done its 3000 mile interval so oil and air filter refresh is what it got!
