Another bespoke storage solution out of the SCC Custom Shop! 🔨

This T7 Transporter Kombi came to us with a specific brief from the customer for a practical, made-to-measure storage setup.

We designed, manufactured and installed this bespoke twin drawer system, making the most of the available load space while giving the customer easy access to their equipment when they need it.

Built to the customer’s exact requirements and finished with a durable, clean design that looks right at home in the T7.

A little extra refinement for this Transporter T6.1 Kombi 👌

This T6.1 came into the workshop for a few upgrades to make the interior feel that bit more comfortable and refined.

We fitted full carpet lining, an Alcantara headlining and our premium insulation package, helping to reduce road noise while giving the Kombi a much more finished, premium feel inside.

A subtle transformation, but one that makes a big difference. 👌

Another bespoke racking job out the door 👌

We recently designed, manufactured and installed this custom racking system for a brand-new T7 E-Transporter Kombi.

With the Kombi layout and the shape of the vehicle to work around, we designed the racking specifically to make the most of the available load space while keeping everything practical, accessible and organised.

Manufactured in-house from durable black phenolic ply, with a combination of open shelving and divided compartments to suit the customer’s equipment.

From the initial design right through to manufacture and installation, the whole setup was built around the vehicle and how it’s going to be used.

When factory spec still isn’t quite enough.

This brand new 76 plate Volkswagen Caddy came direct to us from the dealer before being delivered to its new owner.

It was already a high spec van, but the customer wanted a level of refinement in the load area that simply wasn’t available from the factory.

So we fitted our full Caddy/Transit Connect lining package, including insulation, Carpet lining, tailored headlining, integrated LED spotlights and a finished load floor.

The result is a much more refined, finished and usable space, while still keeping everything practical.

From concept to completed build 🔧

This bespoke setup for Survey & Engineering Projects Ltd started life as a CAD design and finished as a fully customised installation in their Toyota Proace L2.

The brief was to create:

✔ A dedicated mobile office area
✔ Secure storage for specialist survey equipment
✔ Easy access to equipment via a heavy-duty sliding drawer
✔ A practical layout designed specifically around the customer’s needs

Using CAD, we were able to model the equipment within the van before manufacturing started, ensuring everything worked exactly as intended.

Once approved, the entire project was built and installed by our team here at SCC Custom Shop.

It’s always satisfying seeing a design become reality 👌
