Here's a peek at some of the random bits I picked up this morning, from foxgloves and chocolate to a beautiful 1950s fruit bowl and a string of world flag bunting! You never know what you're going to find ❤️

Brace yourself! Tomorrow's actually going to be dry and sunny! 👏👏👏 🥳 ☀️

Skegby Car Boot - Every Tuesday till the end of September. Come recycle your unloved items ♻️ make some cash 💰 and find a bargain!

Usual details.....

Our opening times are:

Early bird only seller entry gates open 10am till 10.15am only. The gate will be opened at 10am and closed again at 10.15am.

Any sellers arriving after this time will have to wait till standard seller entry at 11am.

Standard seller entry from 11am. Although the gate will be opened at 11am, to avoid queuing, please come about 11.15am.

Buyers entry is from 11.30am. There's free parking on the field.

Please don't come any earlier than the entry times as the local roads can't take much parked traffic. We're strict with the opening times and the gate won't be open any earlier than advertised.

Standard seller fees:
Cars - £7
Small Vans - £9 (i.e. VW Caddy & Ford Transit)
Large Vans - £11 (i.e. Luton & Sprinter)
Trailers - £4 extra
Early bird sellers - £5 extra

Buyers:
50p each - under 12s free (must be accompanied by an adult)

🐦 Early Bird Sellers Gate opens at 10:00am and closes again at 10:15am. You must arrive during this 15-minute window to qualify for Early Bird entry.

Don’t let the weather forecast put you off — Skegby Car Boot WILL be OPEN tomorrow, Tuesday 19th May!

As we all know, forecasts can change by the hour, and a little rain never stops a good bargain hunter!

So come down for a morning of bargains, fresh air, treasure hunting and hopefully a few sunny breaks too ☀️ Some of the best finds happen when others stay home!

🚗 Sellers welcome as either early birds (10-10.15am) or standard sellers (11am onwards).
🛍 Buyers welcome from 11.30am onwards.

We’re really disappointed to be making this post.

Last Tuesday, one seller chose to leave a huge pile of unwanted items and rubbish behind on the field instead of taking it home with them.

As everyone knows, we always ask sellers to clear up after themselves and take their unsold items and waste away at the end of every car boot.

Leaving mess like this is completely unfair on us and the other sellers and buyers who respect the site.

We work hard to keep the car boot clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone, so seeing this left behind was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

We are aware of who the seller was, and they will not be welcome back.

To the vast majority of our sellers and visitors who do tidy up and respect the field — thank you, we genuinely appreciate it. Please continue helping us keep the car boot a place everyone can enjoy.
