Ethanol is added to gasoline to boost the fuel's octane rating....... but that's not all 🤔

Ethanol contains roughly 33% less energy per gallon than pure gasoline, which can slightly reduce a vehicle's fuel economy (miles per gallon).....

Ethanol is hygroscopic (it attracts and absorbs water). Over long storage periods, this can cause phase separation, corrosion, or gum buildup in older vehicles and small engines like lawnmowers or boat motors.

Sounds like the government are really looking after us.....

Did you know that the UK Channel Island of Jersey has Zero Illegal Migration and this is why....

Sitting 9.5 miles off the coast of France surely its rich pickings for illegal migration so why do we not hear anything about it?

Well they govern themselves so the UK have no say over their country policies which mean any illegal migration results in them being sent straight back to France!

How many lives would be saved trying to cross the dangerous waters if the UK adopted the same policy?

There is a distinct ethanol difference between the best and worse E5 High Octane fuels sold in the UK!

Shell Vpower 99 - 204.9
BP Ultimate 98 - 195.9
Esso Supreme+ 99 - 195.9
Tesco Momentum 99 - 186.9

But will cost play a part in the Ethanol content?

E5 vs E10 - Common question I get asked 🙌🏻

The higher the ethanol content the more fuel you will consume BUT the cost of E5 over E10 at today's prices I don't see a benefit if you have a modern vehicle.

If you have an older car, performance car or classic I would stick to E5 but one with the lowest Ethanol content and as you will see in our fuel tests the is a massive difference in E5 ethanol content 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Day 2 of Ethanol Test ready to be released on Monday at 7pm.

Don't forget Day 1 - Tesco Momentum 99 vs Shell Vpower 99 drops on Sunday at 7pm.

I have had over 100 messages regarding Diesel Fuel not getting the same MPG as before and I'm 99% sure I know the answer to this which I will put into a video and hopefully answer that question.
