Great days racing at another different track for me in the Sierra, this time at Smallfields raceway, first race was their South East Open, where out of a fair field of 22 cars I pulled 17th out of the hat, my race didn’t start off too well either as after only 2 laps I run wide on the wet and clipped the banking which stopped me dead, after I got going again I managed to start picking off a few cars at a time and on the last lap I had caught the leader who crossed the finish line 2 car lengths in front of me, gutted is an understatement but 2nd is more than i could of hoped for seeing as I didn’t get off to a good start, all in all a good days racing and a bit of silverware 🏆🏁👍
