Been a busy start to the new year, we painted this lovely RS 2000 last week following metal work and preparation. More photos to follow.

2021 was a busy year which has been evident in our lack of posts but we are delighted to welcome a new member of staff to our team in 2022, which will hopefully alleviate the pressure and give us more time to share the exciting projects we are working on.

Andy joins us tomorrow and brings with him a passion for vehicle restoration and excellent body and metal work skills, please join us in welcoming Andy to the team!

We are looking forward to commencing a number of new projects during 2022 and also completing some outstanding jobs which we will share with you soon.

What a day…… even though the weather could’ve been better. ☔️

The Mexico drew in a lot of attention, and won 1st place in its class - best Mk1 Mexico. 🤩🏆🥇

The Mk1 RS2000 won 1st place in its class - best RS2000 of the day, and also won the ‘Andy Slee Memorial Award’ for best RS2000, as voted for by the Registrar of the Ford AVO Owners club. 🤩🏆🥇🏆🥇

We are grateful that we could be there to see our customers win these awards.

On Friday, our customer picked up his completed Mk1 Es**rt Mexico Press Car, and yesterday he travelled up, along with us, to bring it to its first show, the Ford AVO Owners National Day.

**Job opportunity within Classic Car Restoration**

Panelcraft are currently expanding the business and are looking to hire a full time paint prepper

What the role requires:

- Prepare vehicles for paint
- Sanding down panels
- Masking panels ready for paint
- Repair and fill damaged body panels
- Priming panels ready for paint (not necessary)
- Ensure there are no defects on prepared panels
- Must have experience as a Vehicle Bodyshop Prepper

This is a great opportunity to work within the classic car industry on all types of vehicles from MK1 Es**rts, MK2 Es**rts, Cosworths, Porsches, Lancia and many more
