“I couldn’t recommend the Porsche Human Performance Centre more highly.”

As part of Birte Hayes’ preparation for the Marathon des Sables Legendary — a brutal 270km race across the Sahara — mastering heat was essential. Using our Porsche Human Performance Lab heat chamber, Birte completed a bespoke block of heat‑acclimation sessions designed to prepare her body for extreme conditions.

Despite initial nerves, the structured programme, in‑depth physiological monitoring and expert guidance quickly became a highlight of her training. Across the sessions, measurable progress followed — improved core temperature response, heart rate control and sweat efficiency — building confidence every step of the way.

Porsche Human Performance has been preparing a group of British Superbike riders for the 2026 race season with an intensive four-day training camp in Mallorca.

Each morning featured a three-hour road bike session targeting different energy systems designed to push riders to the limit. Afternoons were dedicated to recovery, optimal nutrition, and the occasional round of golf to reset both body and mind.

By 5:00pm, it was time for the gym. Sessions began with hip and spine mobility work, followed by activation exercises for the shoulder and trunk stabilising muscles. The day concluded with heavy upper-body, trunk, and grip strength training. Eat. Sleep. Train. Repeat.

This time last week, Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone was alive with the excitement of 20 remarkable guests who took on the challenge of mastering car control and navigating slippery surfaces on our iconic Porsche tracks.

Our guests of honour were members of Spinal Track, a charity committed to providing circuit and rally experiences for drivers who need adaptations due to disabilities.

We were thrilled to host members, offering them a chance to connect and share their experiences while enjoying delicious coffee and treats in our Porsche Restaurant.

Thank you to all that attended, proving anything is possible.

☀️Porsche Club Great Britain Summer Celebration☀️

Last weekend, Porsche Club Great Britain members joined us at the Porsche Experience Centre Silverstone for a fabulous day of driving Classic models on track and a summer celebration of all things Porsche.

Members spent the day indulging in the thrill of Taycan passenger experiences, challenged each other on Formula 1 simulators and enjoyed an endless variety of delicious food and drink.

Our creative members also impressed, demonstrating not only their exceptional driving skills on the track but also their artistic flair, during our Porsche Classic Canvas Painting workshops.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this fantastic event. We had a great turnout and can’t wait to see you all at our next gathering during the festive season!
