Started this one up, loaded it, strapped it down, and took it on its last drive with us to Silverstone.

2004 BMW M3 (E46). Green. Manual. 66k miles.

Before it left the unit it had a full machine polish — part of a detail-and-deliver package ahead of its date with Iconic Auctioneers this weekend. New keeper, new chapter, but it’s leaving looking its best.

Every car that comes through gets the same care, whether it’s a daily runner or one heading for the auction block.

Twenty years with one owner. That’s how long this TVR Chimaera had been in the same hands before today.

There’s always a moment on these jobs where you can tell it’s not just a car being loaded — it’s a chapter closing for someone. Two decades of ownership doesn’t end with a handshake and a logbook. It ends with watching it disappear up the ramp.

Not every day is a transport day.

Day off from the truck today, so it's valet day at the unit.

This 911 Targa belongs to one of my regular customers — it comes in for a proper wash and valet on a routine basis. No booking apps, no drama. He drops it off, I look after it, it goes home clean.

■ POV Job of the week: a Radical.

No number plates, slicks, wings, and about as much ground clearance as a skateboard — which is exactly why it travels enclosed, eased on gently and strapped down properly, not driven up a ramp and hoped for the best.

Ours is called Flo. She's also the reason the fleet runs FL09 DOG and FL03 DOG — when your co-pilot has been there from the start, she gets the plates.

Here she is on inspection duty at Stretton Hills, signing off a Boxster before the doors closed. Nothing leaves the trailer without her approval.

Soft straps at the wheels, never the bodywork. Condition photos at both ends. And the little E722 plate on the back? That's the trailer's own EU registration — it means we're legal to run this trailer across the Continent, not just talk about it.
