Shrewsbury Under 17 Driving Academy We have set up the academy to allow students under 17 to take early off road training. We also offer one off driving experiences, or party sessions.

Providing a safe environment for those aged 14-17 to have a drive behind the wheel 🚗

We also accommodate for over 17s for people with disabilities, anxiety, driving restrictions, taster sessions, etc Venue: Forton airfield
Subject to instructor availability. All students to be accompanied and dropped off by adult. Currently starting with 3 DVSA approved driving instructors, and maybe adding mor

e in the future. We are all CRB checked (4 yearly). Price £50/hr.
3 people party / driving experience £150 prepaid.

4 more students were in attendance today. John was covering Wendy's lessons again while she's off recovering, and Charlotte was in with Rob to get some training ready to start her cover for Wendy's lessons.
Dave from Telford popped along with his daughter.

Rob took Lexi and Cole, while John was with Tom and Emma.

We now have more availability having recruited Tim and Charlotte.

For those of you that have enquired about sessions over July and August, I'm currently looking at getting another instructor in to cover Wendy's sessions while she's off recovering. Hopefully I will know by the weekend and so can take bookings over the summer holidays.

Today was just the 4 students. With Wendy currently recovering from her operation, John has stepped in to cover Wendy's students for the next few weeks. Sarah is on holiday.

Rob was with Jack and Nerys, and John took Brandon and Emma.

It was a good session for all 4 students and as usual they all left happy and smiling.

Thankfully, the airfield stayed dry for us! 🙌🏻

5 instructors out this evening whilst Rob enjoys his holiday… safe to say he picked the right week to disappear ☀️😎😂

A fab evening with a lovely mix of familiar faces and some brand new Under 17’s drivers joining us 👏🏻☺️

Tonight’s skills included slalom driving, reversing, steering control, clutch control and building confidence behind the wheel 🚗💨🔥

It’s amazing to watch these young drivers grow in confidence and pick up new skills so quickly ☺️

This afternoon we had just the three students, Sarah stood in for Wendy, and one of Robs had to cancel last minute but it was still a good session.

Sarah had Brandon, and Pippa, while Rob took Nerys. There was some good driving on show today too.

Spaces are filling up quickly so don't leave it too long if you'd like to get something booked soon.
