Ford Tourneo Custom Handover

Another Custom handover this week, a Diesel Automatic Titanium X Luxe 2.0 EcoBlue 170ps in ‘Magnetic’ metallic paint. Extras added to this conversion, included; Heated, Fixed Sensico Steering Wheel and 19inch Multi-spoke Alloy Wheels in Matte Magnetic.

It’s not hard to see why this is one of our most popular WAVS, it’s style and practical features make it an easy choice, especially for larger wheelchairs and taller wheelchair users.

New WAV Day for Josie

Earlier this week we handed over this brand-new VW Caddy wheelchair accessible vehicle in Indium Grey to Josie and mum, Debbie. Debbie came to us when their current vehicle was no longer suitable for their needs. Debbie and Josie wanted a small WAV but one that could fit Josie’s Strikeforce wheelchair in.

Josie plays wheelchair football so having a car that could get Josie out and about to all her matches was a must. Although one of our smaller WAVS, the VW Caddy was able to accommodate her wheelchair and required kit for her matches. They can now travel comfortably to matches and enjoy the journey as they go.

A powered tailgate was added for ease of use, an adaptation that can be incorporated into our Ford Connect and VW Caddy models.

The VW Caddy offers great outward visibility, with the panoramic roof that was a highlight for Josie. We love to see how our wheelchair accessible vehicles can make a difference to how our customers can travel, getting them to where they want to go, in comfort, style and safety.

We wish them many happy days out and winning football matches in their new VW Caddy WAV.
