Volkswagen Caddy Morelife

More Inclusion, More Comfort, More Safety.

One of our Demonstrators, Ethan, delivered this stunning, brand new VW Caddy to a customer in London this week. A 1.5TSI 116PS 7-speed DSG model in Mojave Beige, chosen for its compact design with uncompromised comfort.

This particular model has been loaded with extras including ergoComfort Seats for the driver and passenger with Fixed Panoramic Glass roof, Privacy Glass, Front Heated Seats, Heated Exterior Mirrors, Heated Washer Nozzles and Heated Windscreen. Luxury and comfort has not been comprised in this compact car-like wheelchair accessible vehicle.

A popular WAV, the Morelife and Goodlife Volkswagen Caddy conversions are one of the smallest wheelchair accessible vehicles in our range, making them ideal for easy-parking whilst offering the wheelchair user the space and visibility for ultimate comfort.

The wheelchair user travels in-line with the other rear passengers on a flat, level, lowered floor. Sitting lower in the vehicle reduces the wheelchairs centre of gravity, minimising the feeling of body roll when the car is cornering, to achieve a comfortable ride.

The Ford Connect C’arete

The Brotherwood® ‘C’arete’ Wheelchair Accessible Ford Tourneo Connect provides true inclusion within a compact vehicle.

Unlike many small WAVs the wheelchair user travels inclusively between the rear seats, with outstanding outward visibility and class-leading ride comfort. The wheelchair location in the C’arete allows the user to benefit from a better travel experience, making support and conversation easy.

Using expert design and engineering, Brotherwood have achieved maximum internal space to give the wheelchair user 56” of internal headroom. The only Ford Tourneo Connect conversion that offers this level of headroom with a low, flat, level floor.

The short wheelbase makes it ideal for easy parking, whether at home or out and about, wherever your journey takes you.

Edie’s Disney Dream

Finding a vehicle that was comfortable yet practical for Edie was a must. Edie’s family were due to embark on a once in a lifetime trip to Disneyland, so the Brotherwood team pulled out all the stops to ensure her new vehicle was ready in time!

Edie’s chosen vehicle was a Mercedes V-Class Exclusive ‘Klastar’ with an additional third row fixed seat, LED rear lighting and sculpted headlining cut-out to ensure maximum head room when entering the vehicle. The Mercedes V-Class is a popular Brotherwood vehicle, it’s style and practical features are incomparable.

All Brotherwood vehicles are designed to provide the upmost comfort for the wheelchair user with inclusivity at the forefront. The wheelchair position is completely inclusive, this important feature ensures the wheelchair user benefits from the same experience as their family, friends and other passengers.

One of the advantages of Mercedes-Benz ‘Klastar’ is the sunroof, enabling the wheelchair user to have maximum natural light into the centre of the vehicle and amazing visibility, so they can take in the scenery as they travel. Superhero Super Day!

What a truly Super day we had at our first Superhero Tri event on Saturday at Dorney Lake in Windsor, powered by Marvel.

As the Superhero Series celebrated its 10th Anniversary, it’s clear to see why this is such a popular event. Thank you to Sophia Warner and Lucy Curtis and the team for organising such an incredible day. We were proud to support such an inclusive sporting event.

Armed with our pom-poms, we took our positions as SideKicks to cheer on the amazing athletes taking part. From children and adults to families and friends, it was a powerful celebration of everyday Superheroes. Seeing the determination of all those taking part to cross the finish line, after their swim, cycle and run, especially in the hot conditions, was inspiring.

The atmosphere throughout all day was terrific and we were delighted to be positioned next to and .uk. Bupa kept everyone entertained with their activity tent, we spent some time honing our bean bag throwing skills, only getting a little competitive! Conquering Horizons showcased their Omni wheelchair with Olympian champion Peter Reed for . We even got to take the Omni for a spin ourselves, which was one of the highlights of the day.

Congratulations to everyone who took part, you are all inspiring, and we hope you all had an unforgettable day.

The highlights will be on Channel4 on the 29th August with Clare Balding we look forward to watching to relive the action.

Superhero Tri!

We're on our way to Dorney Lake in Windsor to support the Superhero Tri, part of the Superhero Series, powered by Marvel for an amazing event tomorrow.

Founded by Paralympian in 2016, the Superhero Series aims to hold fun and inclusive sporting events without restrictions. We're excited to be joining this year as the event celebrates its 10th Anniversary.

Providing inclusivity is part of the Brotherwood ethos and something that we have incorporated into our wheelchair accessible vehicle designs from the very first car converted over 40 years ago. To being part of an incredible event such as this, supporting and promoting inclusivity is enormously important to us as a Company.

We will be unleashing our Superhero alter egos for the day and look forward to meeting many other Superheroes tomorrow for the Superhero Tri!
