This 2014 BMW 1 Series came to us due to the Radio and idrive multimedia screen powering down after around 30 seconds, after initial checks we diagnosed that the software required updating to the latest version. We were able to undertake this update inhouse which resulted in the problem being resolved and the customer more than happy as it was significantly cheaper than going to the BMW main dealer.

Todays daily defect, Jaguar F Type lower control arm bush decided to leave the chat, got hungry and started to eat into the lower front arm.
Dont leave vehicle safety to chance the importance of the yearly MOT can be seen in the video.
The bush in question should be a tight pressed fit into the arm. New arms were fitted and the vehicle re-tested. The customer is now safety back on the road.

We had this stunning Audi RS6 in for MOT, what an absolute monster of a family wagon.
Its powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. We approve that this is more than capable of doing the school run and Shopping trips ❤️

Today's daily defect was found on a Seat Leon FR during its yearly MOT test, what your looking at circled in red is the rear antiroll bar, the end has completely snapped off. The purpose of this part is to keep the rear of the car stable during cornering and minimising body roll.

It was a day away from the workshop today and a visit to Donnington park race circuit to support Lexi Fells who was racing her long circuit 125cc Superkart, if your not familiar with these karts they are a serious bit of kit Lexi was reaching top speeds of 120+ mph!
She displayed some very impressive driving on a large grid of very experienced drivers, in qualifying she secured the P1 spot and heat 1 finished P1.
She continued with good pace over the rest of the sessions proving she's a talent to watch in this class for sure in the future.

We love to see something a little different in the workshop and this little Ford fiesta certainly ticked that box, it has been beautifully converted to cosworth engine and full 4 wheel drive running gear. A real sleeper this one.
