36 Hours Until The Track Goes Live!

The final countdown is upon us. The paddock will fire into life tomorrow as competitors and teams arrive and begin to get setup ready for the weekend ahead.

Tonight is your perfect opportunity to ensure that your signing-on is completed. There is a signing-on link per day you are in attendance, so if you are with us Saturday and Sunday please ensure both are completed!

With the weekend expected to be hot, with plenty of sunshine on Sunday, please do ensure you pack plenty of water and sun cream, especially marshals and officials who are out in the sun all day.

HEATWAVE CUP 2026 – WEATHER LOOKING FANTASTIC!

The latest forecast from is shaping up to deliver an excellent weekend of karting at Shenington Kart Racing Club!

🌤️ Friday (Setup Day)
26°C, clear skies and light winds.

⛅ Saturday (Practice Day)
A little more cloud around, but remaining dry with temperatures reaching 23°C and only a very low chance of rain.

🌤️ Sunday (Race Day)
Another warm summer's day with highs of 26°C, plenty of sunshine breaking through and only a small chance of a brief shower during the afternoon.

💨 Winds remain light throughout the weekend.
🌧️ Rain chances stay very low.
☀️ Plenty of dry track time expected.
🧴 Don't forget the sun cream, hats and plenty of water, especially on Friday and Sunday with UV levels reaching High to Very High.

Whether you're competing, marshalling, spectating or supporting, it looks set to be a superb weekend at Shenington.

The Heatwave Cup is around the corner and with entries steadily rising there are still spaces in the following:

Entries do officially close this coming Sunday, depending on total entries late entries may be open until Tuesday, but this is not a guarantee and to secure your spot and save the late entry fee it is recommended to enter Sunday or before.

Volunteers Week at Shenington!

The Chief Marshal on race day is responsible for coordinating marshals around the circuit and ensuring they have the support needed to perform their roles safely and effectively.

Working closely with race control, clerks, timekeeping, they oversee marshal deployment, respond to operational requirements, and help maintain the highest standards of safety throughout the event.

Their leadership helps ensure that every volunteer can work together as one team.

Before the event, Jordan works as Chief Marshal, coordinating marshal recruitment, post allocations, briefings, and ensuring the circuit is fully staffed and ready for race day.

Once the racing begins, the focus switches to Timekeeping, providing the timing and results that competitors, teams, officials, and spectators rely upon throughout the event.

Flag Marshals are the eyes and ears of race control around the circuit.

Positioned trackside throughout the day, they communicate important information to competitors, monitor incidents, and play a crucial role in maintaining safety during every session.

Rain or shine, their concentration and commitment help ensure racing can take place safely.
