As a Tyre Fitter / Fast-Fit Technician, you will be responsible for the fitting of tyres, TPMS equipment and fast-fit mechanical components for all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop.

You will be expected to;

- Carry out work to the highest industry standards.
- Examine vehicles, recording all finding on the job card.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the necessary Health and Safety guidelines.
- Help in the maintenance of a clean and organised work space.

All Candidates MUST have;

- Experience in fast and efficient tyre fitting and wheel alignment, while maintaining work quality and care over customers property.
- A full UK Driving Licence

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

- Experience and proficiency in the fitting and repair of brakes and steering/suspension components.
- His / her own a set of basic tools suitable for the work being performed.

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop.

If you are not already a qualified MOT Tester, you must be willing to undertake the necessary training to become one. All training and associated expenses will be paid for by the company.

You will be expected to carry out service, maintenance and repair work and diagnose vehicle faults as requested, and, where appropriate, use scanning equipment.

All candidates MUST have;

-A Level 2 Qualification or Accreditation (NVQ, IMI or C&G) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
-A full UK Driving Licence.
-Their own set of Tools.

The IDEAL candidate would have;

-A Level 3 Qualification or Accreditation (NVQ, IMI or C&G) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
-A valid and current MOT Smart Card, with tests having been performed in the last six months.
-Over five years' experience as a qualified vehicle technician.
-Electrical fault finding, component testing and diagnostic experience.
