This is how it works. We purchase a vehicle but no one person will own it. The thoughts are either a company or maybe a charity. The charity idea would be for people that own companies that can pay in & lose money from their tax bill but also gaining something. The vehicles will be stored in a SE London postcode. 1 of the 1st vehicles that has already been purchased is a 1960's commer camper. The plan is up to 5 people will pay in approx £2500-£3000 per person to restore this vehicle, which will include brand new brakes, brand new modern engine (making it reliable & cost efficient to run),a new spray job & new interior. Once this money has been paid there will be no further payments due except for minor contributions for insurance & the odd service. Won't be much split 5 ways. These vans will sleep 4 & are ideal for people with families. Would be perfect for that countryside/coastal weekend getaway or even a music festival. It would be insured under classic car insurance & everybody involved would be named drivers. I would like to run this idea for approx 5 years with each vehicle. The average cost to rent one of these is £800+ per week plus large deposits. The diary would be accessed online & and availability would be equally shared between all parties throughout the year.
