It's coming up to 2 years since the current car was put into service and it's now clocked up over 66000 miles of careful driving. It has drunk nearly 8000 litres of petrol which at today's prices is about £12500!

Been a good way to end the week for Cameron Derrick with a FIRST TIME test pass. Congratulations Cameron, all your hard work was worth it. We had a test booked for a few weeks ago but weren't quite ready so we postponed it for labout 6 weeks to get a bit more practice and didn't have a wasted test. Right decision Cameron, enjoy your driving.

It's been a regular week at the office. One student tried to take me the wrong way round a roundabout, another tried to drive me into a wall (thank goodness for dual controls), and another nearly bowled over an old fella on a pedestrian crossing. I'm having a day off tomorrow so this lucky lady can celebrate being married to me for 45 years. I know, I didn't believe it either but I did the maths and apparently it's right. We're going to have a soft drink and a bag of crisps to celebrate then I'll be right back at it next week. See you soon.

Another happy new driver on the road today - big congratulations to Ruby Horsfall. Apparently aced a tricky hilly reverse bay park and smashed all the hill starts (in her own words not mine!). Well done Ruby, all your hard work was worth it. Hope to see you getting about in your own car soon.

Up to Kendal again. The rain stopped, the clouds parted and the sun shone on Tom Price while he achieved a FIRST TIME test pass. Congratulations Tom but I'll miss our weekly chats. All your hard work was worth it.
