A little behind schedule with the posts for the Parc du Marquenterre, as it was also my birthday yesterday and I got my bus pass!
Videos to follow, safe to say a fantastic day in the Parc with 15 vehicles.
Libby lead one group and I lead the other.
We had a couple of casualties, two older Defenders blew diffs
There was also a few headaches this morning 🤢🥹

Back home from an interesting two weeks in the Pyrenees.
Spent chasing sunshine!
We had heavy rain, hail lightning and snow, plus some fabulous days of sunshine and nights full of stars.
The vehicles all performed amazingly.

39 year 110 never missed a beat

22 year old D2 on bald tyres no CDL and a ground anchor on the back end had one puncture unbelievable. Went everywhere as well!

14 year old Defender Tdci with penman trailer was fantastic apart from locking its doors with the keys in it in Andorra.
Not a big problem to fix😉

Grenadier walked the walk as always, got stuck we all did and half the fun was all working together to get through.
Clocked 85,000 on the way home.

Home now and a big clean up and check over before France on Friday morning for some Parc du Marquenterre fun.

I swear Molly wonders who I am when I get home. The great thing is I come home to a family these days waiting up for me kettle on. Life’s so much better, even though I reach retirement age on Saturday 🥹 66 years old where has all the time gone.

Best make the most of it 😉
