🏍️ Bamburgh Run 2026 🏍️

Staying with us this weekend? Why not take a trip to one of Northumberland’s most popular vintage motorcycle events!

The much-loved Bamburgh Run returns on Sunday 7th June, with over 80 polished and pampered vintage motorcycles expected to line up in Etal Village from 9:00am ahead of their official departure at 10:30am.

Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or simply looking for a unique day out during your stay at Seafield Caravan Park, you’ll love the sights, sounds and nostalgia as dozens of vintage bikes set off on their scenic journey to Bamburgh before returning to Etal around 2:00pm for another display.

Keep an eye out for riders dressed in period costume too, adding even more character to this fantastic event!

🌿 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 — 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞: 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 🌲⛰️

If you’re after woodland shelter and a proper viewpoint, this circular route is a great one. Starting in Thrunton Woods and climbing up towards Coe Hill, it combines forest trails with open hill views — a brilliant mix for an active day out during your stay with us.

📍 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 & 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨:
It’s around 45–50 minutes’ drive from Seafield to the main car park at Thrunton Woods near Alnwick. There’s a Forestry England car park at the start of the trails with more space than many of the valley spots.

👣 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:
– Distance: Around 4–5 miles (6.5–8 km) circular
– Time: 2–2.5 hours at a steady pace
– Difficulty: Moderate — forest tracks to start, then steeper sections as you climb towards Coe Hill

🏞️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭:
The walk begins on wide, well-marked woodland trails before gradually climbing higher onto open ground near Coe Hill. From the higher sections you’ll get fantastic views over the surrounding countryside, then a gentle descent brings you back into the shelter of the trees.

🐾 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐓𝐢𝐩:
Great for dogs — wide paths through the woods and plenty of space, just keep them close when you reach the higher, more open sections.

A perfect mix of trees, views and a bit of a workout 💚
